SPHC (SPH) Hot-Rolled Steel Plate
This material is also referred to as HOT or black steel. It is rolled at high temperatures of 900°C to 1200°C and is covered with a black oxide film (also known as scale). This material has a wide distribution range and is suitable for bending and deep drawing processes.
SPHC-P (SPHC) Hot-Rolled Steel Plate
Also known as pickled steel plate, it is obtained by removing the oxide film from the surface of hot-rolled steel plate using the pickling process. SPHC can refer to both black steel and pickled steel, so when specifying a material, be sure to note the “P” designation or whether it has been pickled. Its properties are similar to black steel and it is commonly used in processes such as stamping.
SPCC Cold-Rolled Steel Plate
Also known as rolled steel, cold-rolled steel, or plain steel, is produced by further cold-rolling hot-rolled steel plate. It has a smooth, glossy surface, is soft, and has excellent workability. However, due to the lack of an oxide film, it is very susceptible to rust. Oiling is required for protection during distribution and processing. When used as a product, it requires rust-proofing treatment such as spraying before and after processing.
SECC Electrogalvanized Steel Sheet
Also known as galvanized steel sheet, this is cold-rolled steel sheet that has been electroplated with zinc. It is the most widely used surface-treated steel sheet. The galvanizing treatment provides excellent rust resistance and a beautiful, lustrous appearance. It is also easy to process and offers excellent decorative properties, making it a popular choice for covers on mechanical parts.
SGCC Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Sheet
This steel sheet, also known as iron sheet, is cold-rolled steel sheet that has been hot-dip galvanized. Due to its thicker coating, it offers higher corrosion resistance than electrogalvanized steel. Therefore, it is often used in outdoor construction materials, etc.
SPTE (SPHC) Electrogalvanized Steel Sheet
A type of steel sheet known as tinplate is cold-rolled steel sheet that has been electroplated with tin. It is soft and easy to process. It also features ease of welding due to the low melting point of the tin on the surface. It is often used in the manufacture of beverage or paint containers, etc.
